Grant Durham, Financial Advisor
Grant grew up in Lubbock Texas and pursued a career as an officer in the Army by attending The United States Military Academy at West Point. Grant served at Fort Carson and deployed to Afghanistan in 2012 then transitioned to the Reserves in which he still serves as a Major. Grant entered the financial advising industry after leaving Active Duty because he had enjoyed guiding Soldiers in his platoon through their everyday finances and wanted to pursue that interest by guiding people throughout a lifetime of financial decisions. Grant has a number of hobbies and community involvement including playing fiddle, mandolin and banjo (among other instruments) in The Jason Wulf Band. He also volunteered for almost 10 years with the El Paso County Search and Rescue Team and trains and shows Reined Cowhorses in the NRCHA. Grant’s diverse background has provided him the ability to relate to clients from many different backgrounds.

Conrad Kerst, Advisor Assistant
Conrad grew up in Northern Colorado in the small town of Eaton. He originally dreamed of becoming a CAD specialist, but during college he pivoted into the oil field, where he spent five years working as a technician in the oil and gas industry.
In November 2025, Conrad connected with Grant through the Ramsey SmartVestor program and hired him as his advisor. Numbers and analysis had always come naturally to Conrad, but he also carried a genuine heart for people — walking with them, supporting them, and showing up whether they’re winning or losing.
That combination of analytical skill and people-first care eventually led him to a new path. Conrad joined Homestead Financial as an assistant in April 2026 and is currently earning his FINRA licensing so he can help clients learn, grow, and succeed in their financial lives. His goal is simple: to guide people with clarity, empathy, and integrity as they build a stronger financial future.
